    Default Isaac's '91 Subaru L Series Wagon.

CHECK MY LINK IN A BELOW POST FOR VIDEO!
Alright then, hello all! I'm Isaac!
Here's my L series along with my fathers one.
I got my white L about 2 months ago, originally I had a Toyota KE55 that I was going to work on, but the plans fell through so I've gotten this.
Right now it's unregistered and uninsured so it just sits there on the front lawn being a garden statue. I'll do a couple mods once I get close to my Ps like chuck some sunraysia rims on them
(like you see on my dad's silver L series) and a subtle exhaust to get the lovely boxer sound out. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23BGY...eature=related like this, a bit quieter though and minus the turboness).

And again, once I'm about a month off my P's or so I'll get it insured and rego'd and get her back on the road!
So, time for pictures of both of the Ls.
Here's some fairly old ones, from the afternoon I got it back from Whyalla. (Flew over to get it and drove it the 400ish kms back to Adelaide)

So a bit more about the car. I assume that most people here don't know much about these Subies.
I myself have been around them heaps, my family has owned 4 so far. That silver one is my dad's second, this one's my first and one of my sisters had an old MY wagon. A bit older than those.
They're a pretty simple car, not too stand out, but I love them regardless. As being part of the SA Subaru 4wd club. I've been out camping and 4x4ing around in these quite a bit. They're heaps of fun
    to thrash around sand dunes!

Only thing I've done to mine so far is give it a good polish, Forever BLAAAACK'd the bumpers and cleaned up the interior a bit.
Oh and of course slapped a MCM sticker on the rear window.

Quick scan of some old pictures, blue thing was my sister looking dorky in the early 00's with her MY.
And what the first Subie we had was like.

The one's we currently own are both 5spd manuals. Same model. Part time 4x4 for offroad, Fwd on road.
Can't engage 4x4 on bitumen or the drivetrain will just lock up.

Thanks! I'm looking forward to putting some effort and time into this thing. Keen as to get it on the road again.
For now I'll just be using the silver one.

Almost forgot! On the trip bringing it back. I set up a camera on the dash and did a timelapse of the whole trip home in the L.

I'm proud, beat all the other small cars running (mostly Vitaras).
