just picked up my new toy haha. hopefully this one will get on road soon ( going for P's in a fortnight :/ )
    was a granny's car. she upgraded ( to a i30 )

from the street looked like a bucket. but inside its like new haha.
sorry about pics. 8pm here ( atm ) so sun's almost sleeping

its got about 220 on the clock. ( not bad for a 89 )
insides all .. well new, carpets ect ( no human slime so far )
pretty much new tires ( or close to it ) and exhaust
    ect ect ect

    cost? $300

    todo:
    - clean ( well the outside )
    - paint
    - stereo ect
    - good service, even though its clean. might as well.
    - new light bulbs in rear indicators
    - driver window washer ( missing )

Good stuff, that's how mine looked when I first picked her up off my uncle.

The only thing I dislike abouts yours is its the basic model and comes with the ugly door trims and a few other missing features, but hey it's pretty darn good for 300 bucks!

I'm keen to see your progress in modding the beast

was thinking about doing something about that. will see what do some speaker mods ect
but yeah for $300 shes clean just general wear and tear.
proably going todo pads with the service/struts/bushings >.< ect :P

Toyota really over engineered the engines in the camrys. Family has a 98 camry that I use to and from work and places i wouldn't take my other car and it's going strong with 375,000 kms on the clock. Only prob with it now is a split cv joint, easily fixed but cbf lol
