All he needs now is a front mount and a new bonnet that doesn't create lift! Wondering what it will put out after tune.. Redrag so you can compare times
right next to my Silvia was an old Mitsubishi colt that had somehow managed to dodge the flames and was fine! absolutely perfect. every ugly panel of it. i could almost feel the Mitsubishi badge laughing at me and I've hated them ever since.
Moog, on that discussion we had about putting too much technical info into an episode (because noone cares about little technical details :P), I think this time around the mix is pretty much perfect. Marty and yourself still got some good, basic info across without sounding boring or being overly technical. It is surprising how many people don't really understand how a turbocharger works.
Definitely looking forward to the tuning episode, it'll be a good time to cover a lot of the basic concepts of tuning (if you're planning on doing that, then again, that can get really technical really quickly). I'm sure it'll be great either way!
I just did a turbo upgrade on my 2009 forester about three weeks ago. I was wondering when you'd get rid of that TD04. I put an 18g on mine that was put into a modified vf40 housing that comes on the legacys over here in the states. Also put in 1000cc bosch injectors, a 255lph fuel pump, a new electronic three port boost controler, and a solid aluminium intercooler is in the mail right now. The stock intercooler has plastic ends that are merely crimped on. If you go with too much boost it can blow them off the intercooler.
