  • YouTube copyright claim on My Crap Car videos?

'lo MCMers. It's no big deal, but I just got a youtube ContentID copyright claim on the crap car vid I sent in. I know a few others have their crap car vids up on their own channels too, has anyone else had a claim?

I'm imagining this is automatic as it doesn't seem like something MCM would do on purpose. But it's also odd since my video was uploaded before theirs was :-/

ContentID sucks. If article 13 gets voted through, it's going to ruin everything for everyone

You need to set your YouTube licence to Creative Commons to allow other people to use your work.

Bit late for that now I suppose.

It could be malicious though, an individual may have put that claim in.
I stripped my car out so much it now has 49/49 weight distribution.
