The death of he internet forum is such a sad thing, especially in favour of a faceballs group, I used to spend 90% of my time on forums like this when I was into small capacity sports bikes. Such a shame, as others have mentioned, Faceballs groups are mostly unmoderated and full of tools who can behave as they wish. Bring back the mid noughties kinship of a good forum any day! Again, as people have said, put a question into google about an automotive issue and 99% of the answers people read are from forums just like this one. Keep the community going people!

I like forums, been on them since the mid to late 90's. 'Distruption' is everywhere TikTok has disrupted Youtube who disrupted TV blah blah on it goes.

Still check in here every now and again and keep paying the bills to keep it alive each and every month. So some of the money that could go towards food and bills goes to Vbulletin where people can tell me i suck for not posting more... is that about right?

I'll just add that smart phones are also on the list of "disruption". All the forums I frequent are difficult to navigate on a phone. I always forum time on my desktop PC.

We had a request to make it compatible with Tapatalk (again) but that's also adding a vulnerability, which could lead to another loss of service and valuable information. 2017 feels like yesterday.

Damn this thread gathered pace I guess I'm just old school and like the forums better than other stuff, the days of climbing trees, making gang huts all that good stuff we used to do as kids was ace, but the generation today is screens and vapes

All anyone can do is post builds in hope to inspire others to do the same. I'm doing it my trash teir Kia so hopefully get others to do the same, or at least show younger generation how good/useful build logs use to be.
