Howdy folks,

I myself am a massive MotoGP fan. Been watching since I was about 5 and always will watch into the future. Since the new 2013 season is beginning I introduce the MotoGP 2013 thread!

With a new field of bikes, some new riders and the legends fighting at the top its sure to be a great season.

Tonight Lorenzo has taken pole at Qatar and will share the front row with Cal Crutchlow and Dani Pedrosa.

What are your expectations, predictions, etc for the 2013 season?

I rode down from sydney the last 3 years to be trackside

I missed the first race this season it was on at some stupid time in the AM.

Marquez is gonna ****ing kill it this season. So pumped.

Moto2's last year was the best racing series in the world, incredibly competitive racing and the skill level was crazy.

Oh yeah, Moto2 was such a competitive field last year. I hope the GP season this year turns out well

I should be going to Phillip Island this year, made it an annual thing with my dad so should be good

Yeah Im hoping to with my old man as well.

Bikes are part of his life heavily so its a big thing for him. I love the atmosphere at the island on the weekend. Would have loved to go last year though.

Yeah same here, dad has a 20 year old Triumph that he usually rides down on. However if any other of the family members come we usually take the car. The atmosphere in the town and at the circuit is awesome, love going in on a saturday night when they have the bands playing and the main street shut off to anything other than bikes. We even go down for the Superbikes earlier in the year. The only thing I don't like is the lack of shade at the circuit, you're constantly out in the sun and you basically bake haha

Wow that sounds like an awesome bike. My Dad use to race bikes internationally, knows people like Jeremy Burgess personally so yeah he loves it. The problem is its a long way for us to go on a weekend sadly

Yeah that's true, t'is pretty far for you, only a couple of hours for us which isn't to bad

This is similar to the bike my dad has (not his actaul bike)
