Hey guys, I'm considering selling my MK4 GTI (Stage 2 tune, coilovers, FMIC etc.) and replacing it with one of 3 options:
MKV R32 (184kW, 1530 kg)
8P A3 2.0T Quattro (147kW, 1565 kg)
MKVI GTI (155kW, 1380 kg)
My preference is easily with the AWD cars, as I've got a FWD now and would like to try something different.
There's a good chance I'm going to modify the car, and output wise, it looks like the R32 and A3 would end up at a similar power range with a stage 2 tune (about 200kW).
The MKVI can make about 220kW on a stage 2 though.
Would prefer a manual, but will not be unhappy with a DSG.
What's everyone's thoughts?
What would you choose and why?
And if you've got any experience with any of them, what was it like to drive?
