Ya Diy to the extrema and sad thing is i got to rip it all out again as the short is right behind the sink so i will be rebuilding it with a new layout and some little tricks

I can never understand ebay I click ebay.ie and look for items to be posted to Ireland and I end up getting loads of page of with items saying we do not post out side the UK.

But in the end i got what I needed some new switch, some gas vents, a 12V fan, a roof vent and some lights yes there is something going on most likely in November it will happen

I can now drive at night with out the fan belts screaming at me all the time

And the rebuild is starting on the 4 of November so stay tune pictures will come did i also mention i want to have it done with in 7 days

I don't think pedo bear on my daily transport is a good idea the plane for paint is always changing so who knows

This is my plan for the new layout only different is i will have a conner seat and the fold out bed is on the right wall





Wouldn't mine this front end or wheels but i think a high roof transit it would look odd

OK I went to Paris the weekend with the girlfriend it was a surprised for her but now I have bad news. On the way back the camper gear box here is what happened

We where heading home up the N13 in France just outside of Caen and I heard a very odd noise from under the camper right by my feet. I found somewhere to pull in I knew I was no more then 60 miles from Cherbourg and thought what every it is I will try and drive to the ferry I look under the camper and saw oil pouring from the gear box and went BEEP (add your own word) I knew the box was dead as i have had trouble for over a year getting 2nd gear and it did leak oil. We drove on and I soon found out I had no 2nd gear and the gear box sound like it had no oil so I pulled over and check and yes I had no oil I got some cans and poured them into the box. Now the oil was coming out very fast so I thought I'm on a motorway thing and I'm in 5th remove the gear stick and get the girlfriend to keep filling the gearbox with oil as I drive this worked it got us to Cherbourg where the real fun started as I was in a town with a gearbox that was dying but I knew I was near the traffic was ok the gear box sound bad so I rang my dad and said Camper dying meet me at Rosslare going on boat soon bring A frame. We made it to the boat just about and got on board. When it came to leaving trouble awaited us the camper would not move no gears at all it just was a nice grinding noise so they pushed us off the boat and into a parking lot where my dad was waiting in his Transit we load mine up and drove home to my aunt house where the camper is sitting.

I have now taking it off the road for the winter as I'm in no mood to rip the gearbox out in the cold so this left we with a problem I have no road worth car but wait there is a car and she never lets me down time to blow the dust of her weld the holes fix the engine and fire up the Chevette once again she come to my rescue



Yes she is a 1982 Vauxhall Chevette 1.3 and I'm going to drive it this winter have had this car for over 6 years now and not once as it let me down be it I only drove it for almost 2 years on and off but she is there again for me

The camper remodel is going ahead so do stay tune for that

Ok an update been a while I went to Poland for some skiing not my best plan every but I drove the camper there and sorted back will get back to that.

Now the big part if all goes well tomorrow the camper will be off the road till April or May reasons why well on the way back from Poland the camper started misfiring and then died and wouldn't start up again luckly my uncle drive articulated lorry to and from Poland he was ably to pick up the van back up and I have not gone near the engine as I have had enough of it breaking down did think about selling it then me brain clicked drive my Chevette and turn Camper into a project so this is what been happening so far in no order what so every

Well I now hate insurecen order to drive the Chevette I need to be 25 years old if I want to drive it now I need to bring it for an NCT (MOT) which will not be needed as of the 1/1/2012 as the car is 30 years old and I need to join a Classic car club that supports my car

So the camper well it lives again a lot of work to get it going but its on the road again till the April when I'm 25 and then its of the road again for the body work to be sorted and the few knock I hear from time to time.

This is a drawing of my rough idea of what I want it to look like when its finished the bull bar is only if I can get one if not A bar will stay on
