bit of an update,i have to do some re wiring in the secret compartment and it looks very bad when im working on it :P


on the upside i got my new manifold installed, i just have to finish up the wiring and touch up the rust and paint in some spots tomorrow. then ill be looking to switch from rubber cones suspension to coils, while its in the shop having the firewall/bulk head repaired

also found this and thought it might be a better replacement steering wheel

so i just finished up work for the night (at 3am) the sub box has been bolted down in its final position. and i mocked up a little chart of the mini's life over the past 5 years in my ownership. it comes down into 4 main stages of it life:

This is such a bonkers mini. I dont really like mini's but i like bonkers

At the last north weald drags . there was a old skool mini van , just like this one with a matt black paint job , running with a vauxhall 2.0 red top Turbo engine . it was rapid .lol

a bit of today's work. story behind it, had some black strips glued to the sill between the flares on each side, they started falling off so my "wonderful" father decided he would screw them into the sills, however it was a bad idea and didn't work at all. at least he had a good idea to coat the hole in something to prevent rust, it didn't entirely work. so i touched it up, wasn't my best work but at least now it doesn't look ratty.

and this is the fifth steering wheel ive had on the car in 5 years, lets hope it stays


so now i want to get it onto a dyno so i can see where its at
