  • Which processor

I want to buy a new PC. I know now it's not the best time because the prices are way too high, but I will try and find some used parts with reasonable prices... Now I can't decide which processor to buy. I'm considering between these two The PC will be used mostly for gaming and some light editing too.
Which one would you recommend and do you think $250 is a good price for ryzen 5 3600?

As a big generalisation; editing suites make better use of AMDs core layout, and gaming makes better use of Intels.
    Both will do the trick.

Which ever comes up second hand first, I'd just take that path.

The only real exclusive advantage to the Ryzen is ECC support.
