Also i will be meeting at Forest glen BP before the meet for anyone coming from the sunny coast again. ill be there at 11:45, leaving at 12:00 to get there earlier this time.

Mate that would be a massive circuit and myself personally can't physically afford to drive that sort of distance sadly, like its a good idea but we are just trying to set up a regular meet point that we can easily go back to each month with no dramas from either management or from the popo

To make the $500 we'd need at least 250 people rocking up. While those numbers are possible, i think it'd be better not to get money involved until we have a solid, regular turn out.
I reckon start out 'small'. Try fill up the klumpp road park n ride (assuming we can use it). If we fill that place up easily, we'll know we can get 200 cars without a problem. After that, we can look into the mt gravatt show grounds.
Like you said, Tooza, i'd like to avoid bringing 'donation' type money into it. I reckon a BBQ+drinks would be mad though. I found myself getting pretty thirsty at the last one so a few cartons of drinks wouldn't hurt.

I think the park n ride would be good.
The one on Kessels Rd is a bit bigger though and has lots of shade (which is always good imo)

I can tell them what I got told and when I asked about the it being private or not the lady just simply couldn't give me an answer done and dusted :P

I went and had a look down at the Klump rd car park last night. It's pretty big plus I couldn't see any cctv. I drove past there today also and hardly any cars parked there. I don't think it's gonna be packed on a Sunday. There is a sign at the front that explains the conditions of use.
Well we'll make the decision on Saturday and post it up.
