MCM Meet end of January in Brisbane

I always link everything up for Qld meets between the forum and Facebook. But I'll always post something in the forum. We do have a very active QLD MCM facebook page that is a bit quicker to get the word out when we do have meets.
As SpaceCowBoy said we are planning to have a meet next weekend. I won't give too much notice probably just 24 hours. So keep checking the "Meets and Events" section for a new thread

Not for a while now mate. Tozza said on the Facebook page that they were having a break and they will organise another meet around April/May.

Nothing set in stone at this stage, but they are hoping to make it to a brissy meet. Early talks suggested they may make it to end of feb but at this stage its not locked in. As soon as we know when they are coming we will let the forum ppl know. We are looking at keeping the meet they attend to forum members and the die hard fans, as it could end up been quiet big otherwise given the support showed on the facebook page for meets in general.

Tooza is currently experiencing power outages but will be back on the forum when he can.

We would like to thank everyone for not coming out today ( tooza went to the meet spot today in case people had not heard of the cancelling of the meet. common sense prevailed and no one came out)

EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO BAD WEATHER.

Due to bad weather and for safety reasons the Mighty Car Mods meet scheduled for Sunday 27/01/13 @ 2pm has been cancelled.

We understand that it is disappointing for everyone who was planning to attend. It's especially disappointing for the organizing team who have put hours of effort into helping to get this event up and running.

Please understand that we are putting the safety of people first.

We are going to re-schedule the meet and we're thinking of having the event on the 10th of Feb.

Thank you for your understanding and support. It has been truly amazing to see the show of interest from every one. Please understand that it is our job to conduct these meets in a safe manner. We are not prepared to put people in an environment where there is an increased risk of injury to people and vehicles.

Yeah, as much as i want it to be today, i think for safety reasons amongst all others, it'd be better to have it next weekend.


edit: In saying that, if it was held at the sunnybank shopping town and only a small amount of people were going, i'd still go. It's only like 5 minutes from my place anyway.
