  • Gold Coast to Brisbane Cruise for MCM meet

Hey guys, just wondering if anybody is interested in a cruise from Gold Coast to Brisbane for the meet happening on the weekend 12th - 15th. I was thinking Coomera BP because its just off the highway, but if this is inconvenient for people we can figure out somewhere else. Let me know what you guys think anyway.

Auto I can drive a manual, taking off and hill starts that arnt to steep, but I have only driven a manual 2 or 3 times in my life I dont have a manual car to practice on and considering I have been on my L's for 16 months I just want my P's aha
I do prefer the control you get with manual, the next car I get will be manual and I will get my license then.

That's going to be one hard test then , the auto test obviously.
I think they save the hard stuff for the Autos because the only maneuvers I was required to do was a 3 point turn (he wanted a 5 but I said I could do it in 3) and a straight reverse. Accidentally did a parallel when he asked me to get behind a car

Kidding, you should pass with no problems, just practice everything and make it a habit to do shoulder checks when required

Ahaha, im honestly not to worried about failing. I mean, if I fail an auto test I really dont deserve to have balls.....ahahaha but im just not getting over confident because if I do I think that will make me more inclined to fail.

Yeah, be polite and ask really complicated questions(Probably not), especially on things you aren't too certain about (I did about the light rail roadworks intersection, wasn't too sure on the speed limit there as it's posted 70 before and then a end roadwork sign saying 60)

Yeah, the way Southport is at the moment. It would have to be the worst area to do the test aha, but hopefully they will take that into consideration. Hopefully should be alright

Really, the only hassle I had was the light rail road where I accidentally gunned it up to 50, but I didn't stay there, coasted down back to 40 then after he said it's a 40 zone where I mad the smart arse remark saying I'm doing 40... (Which I was when he mentioned it)

and also, watch for dodgy drivers and use the horn, that's always fun.
Walk in with a positive attitude aswell, SHOW NO FEAR

Ahaha, yeah I am staying positive at the moment. Most people say if you have a couple of lessons you will be right, which I have. I will be pretty nervous but just hoping I get in the car and go alright, I was around southport today in the car im going for my test in.

Drive around the back of the fire station, and also up the road alittle is the turn right bit where there used to be a shitload of potholes, practice in those areas and you should be good.

                          I did a heap of t-intersection uturns and parallel's.
