          Hey man, I got an email back this morning. Not good news at the moment:

          "No plans for meets at this stage mate for any states currently other than maybe Sydney.

          When that changes we’ll announce it!

          Cheers,

          MCM"

                  I'd say I know how you feel, but I know the scale of Aus is huge and Darwin really is on its own up there. I'm sure the guys will sort something, Marty said to me he hasn't forgotten about it.

                      Hi again, checking if there is any update? We have a club in darwin called Club JDM Darwin with 500 odd members and i've been speaking to the guys that run it and we could possibly run a few cruises to raise money to help bring the lads up aswell as link up with another club up here to get access to Hidden Valley track. Please email me Marty or Moog @ [email protected]

                        I still think things are the same man, they've not ran any meets for a long time

                        Marty might see this next time he logs in. You could try a post on the Facebook group, and hope it doesn't get lost in the Abyss.

                          We are just wanting to establish some connection to start talks for it. I have posted on the MCM posts a few times and Marty's facebook page just waiting for a response. Email would be perfect

                            I don't want to speak for the guy, because it's rude, so take this as an observer with no inside knowledge;

                            However something I've personally observed is that Marty seems to be an introverted planner.
                            A lot of his future plans are internalized and hes likely weighing the pros cons and hows\how-nots in his mind, in case an opportunity pops up.
                            IF i'm right, I empathize with this.
                            I'm often accused of "doing nothing" because my plans are all laying into place, then suddenly "How did you do so much in 3 months?"; well because I've been planning it for 2 years.....observing.... collecting data.... telling nobody... get out of my head....What?.....no you're crazy....

                            As an example; according to Benny, that's exactly what happened with the Cresta.
                            When I was talking to him about pitfalls and screwups, he basically just said something along the lines of;
                            'Nah, it was planned for like...years, and it's been mostly done before. It was just a matter of timing everything and sourcing the parts'.

                            I'm also gonna guess that everyone is not thinking about "meets" until covid is under control dude;
                            if this monster sticks around for 2-3 years, even the most loosely laid plans could be thrown in the bin.

                              Let's hope than at the end of this year we have a vaccine in latest stages of testing.
