Was hoping to begin the boot install/speakers this weekend, However dynamat having not arrived yet, and also realising I don't have enough speaker wire to get to the doors I think it will be put off until the following weekend now.

Will throw up the design for the boot once complete looking good so far

Nice looking Stagea, always loved the Dayz front bumper just makes the car look so nice. Mine has the stock RS4 bumper, but I did have the Dayz wing and rear bumper

Actually while I'm thinking about it, do you need a Rear blind at all? I have one in the garage that was suppose to go with the car but I forgot (I bought it after I got the car but forgot to fit it).

stageas are cool man, perfect allrounder/street/sleeper. not many people know what it is, awd traction keeps things safe for family transits on the other hand you can take it out to the track for a thrash can even slide it permitting you drop the front prop.

            Cheers guys

Yea I love it, before installing the exhaust i spent an hour or so installing an in-car boost controller and gauge (replacing my manual t-piece controller), having only owned a FWD turbo pulsar before (ran 20 pound daily), It felt like it was boosting quite well because of the pull, and only being able to compare it to the fwd I expected to see some decent numbers on the boost, Turns out I was only running 9-10 pound, Which kinda suprised me, This pulls ****ing hard, love the expression on peoples faces when they finally catch up haha.

Can't wait to do a manual conversion to it, the auto is nice and tight now since doing the core plug mod, however its still missing that "drivers car" feel, which I need!

Yeah the Dayz kit really does make it more appealing on the eye, and as much as I've grown fond of it, I will eventually be taking it off and getting a 34GTR kit from masa, It just makes it look so much better

Still a bit unsure on the engine plans as of yet, build up the 25 neo, 26 conversion or even maybe an 25/30 build up, Only time will tell

milkchicken: Was lucky enough to have all the extra bits with my car when I got it but cheers anyways

With your turbo. Be careful running more than 10psi on the daily. They are known to fail easy over then. They do kick though at 10psi, mine was boost modded from Japan by the ground out method. Made it feel great and never had over boost problems, although I was being kind on the mods

Lucky with the bits though I got nothing really special with mine besides the rare Factory Nismo exhaust, was quite happy with it but it needed more so I moved onto the Varex till I sold it and put it back to stock, or well how it was when I got it lol.

They go like anything and the manual is great, Mine was manual and it just made it feel really good. They go like anything and I use to scare the pants off people when it took off, even more so when I got the M35, Ran 16psi of boost and the look on people's faces when the car took off, priceless

25/30 conversion will require alot of work just to get the motor right and then you have to figure out what to do with a rwd conversion

Yeah the 25/30 is lowest in my options at the moment. Just going to rebuild the Neo for now few internals Turbo Mani Plenum ecu and other supporting mods and keep it auto then build up a motor on the side. Will replace motor and box at the same time and most likely do the front end then too. Hate taking cars off the road too much haha.

Yeah Im waiting for this Turbo to go to be honest I think its on it way so I've wound down the boost again to play it safe until tax time

I usually love filling my boot with subs and utilising the back seats for shopping/storage, However with this build it will be different, Although the space IS there, I am going to retain the majority of the boot and the functionality to throw the back seats down if I need to fit longer items in the back

Unfortunately I was going to get some pre-made fibreglass boxes made up that mount nicely into the sides (wasted space between the hatch and the rear suspension) however 1) not enough volume 2) sub wouldn't fit so I would have to modify it, SO i've decided to learn to fibreglass, The one thing I haven't learnt yet so this should be a fun job

But I guess being a perfectionist isn't a bad thing in this case, Atleast I know I will do it, and do it again until its 150% perfect and looks the part (also sounds right)

Edit: Plan to keep this is the one state for as long as possible, maybe forever so it needs to stay a practical family car...

This morning For the First time since owning the car I completely filled the tank, interested to see what range I get from a full tank, probably SFA.

Okay, so after alot of thinking and drawing out the boot design, it appears I may not save as much boot as I would like to.
Turns out right at the back of the boot, I will have a massive 50~cm between each sub..

Ignore the throw up I just did, its clearly not the design i've made just an idea of HOW it will be (design is at home im at work lol).

Note: amps/batteries will be hidden in false floor.. clearly ;D

After much consideration, I might sacrifice depth and bury the subs up the back further, to allow more space in the initial section of the boot...

However with the seats down I will get ALOT more depth than i will get if i use the space at the back of the seats.. Hmm..

Reason I am considering losing the space I could gain when folding the seats down is simply attesa bottle, which Will be located behind the right sub box, unless I relocate it, which doesn't sound fun.

What are your thoughts, sacrafice depth for initial boot usability (more space toward the opening) and ease of access to the attesa bottle, OR?
