The more I look at coure's the more I like them! Look's like a hell of a fun car! I'm wondering... how much power are you expecting? I'm sure the things a little rocket!

is the yrv turbo engine a bolt in modification or is there lots of custom work involved?

yup..its fun to drive...the YRV engine is the best daihatsu turbo engine so far.. its a 1.3cc DOHC, DVVT (dinamic variable valve timing), 16valve turbocharged. its produce a maximum power 139.9 PS (138 bhp) (102.9 kW) @6400 rpm with a Maximum torque 177.0 Nm (131 ft·lb) (18 kgm) @3200 rpm...and all that in a 800kilo cuore! and it come with a tiptronik transmission...

i swap the whole engine in...the best thing is..it fit nicely (this are known only on 2001 coure) theres no modding on mounting..and all the wire are useable.. only afew things had to change..such as the radiator( i use allumunium rad fr L700), aircleaner box(change to openpod)..everything else are just plug n play..

Btw.. if ur going for YRV engines...try to look for YRV Turbo R models...the code is M211G for 4WD..the computer box is P55(that is if u wan to use the stnd).. as they say..these models pack more power.. mine is 2wd model M201G wit a com box P30. stnd Rhf4 turbo.

p/s: nice job on the green cuore..really awesome .. dont reallize u till seing the vid.
