Probably not wise on NYE, but giving this MCM tutorial a shot on my sideskirts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4ckJoQOaeY

First time I've painted something since pre-school.

      Looks nice.

Probably 90% of our big domestic sedans over here are FWD so lovin' the commodore.

Also it is never a bad time for MCM. lol

4L60E's arent that bad, throw in a TransGo Stage 2 Shift kit (strangely the only stage you can get, lol) and a Corvette Servo, you will be slamming and chirping until the tank runs dry.

I have a corvette servo in my V6 and it made a huge difference, car feels much faster and is much more enjoyable to drive. When I rebuild the new trans from a donor car I just got I will be putting in the shiftkit and a new servo.

Huh, I've never actually thought about modifying the auto. Is it difficult to do?

servo is rather straight forward. However the shift kit... get a pro to do it. Its all valves, springs and seals etc (internal work).

                    Your image link is dead.

If you need any parts for the VT I'm parting one out in the next couple of weeks.

Few pics from the Calais bath today.

I'll take some nicer shots tomorrow.

Who says you can't get a shine on white?

                        Tint and vinyl roof next.

                          Very tidy

Although part of me expected to see a nexus 7 as the head unit instead though.

Is the rear bumper alright? It seems to be hanging down a little.

Nexus 7 - one day. I bought the head unit years before the Nexus came out! Wish it came out earlier

Yeah I know what you mean with the rear bumper, but it's fitted correctly. I even had it checked by a panel shop. They reckon it's how these ones sit.

I need some handling mods on this. Has a lot of power but is too boaty - all I've got is a strut brace and lowered suspension.

I got munched by an SP23 earlier today, not a surprise, those cars will always out-handle mine, but I felt the land yacht could have handled a bit better.

What's the go? Coilovers, swaybars etc?
