Took some 'artsy' pics of my ride today, figured I'd put them up.

It's a 1997 Toyota Corolla Seca AE101 with the 1.6L 4A-FE engine. Since I got given the car I didn't have a choice of auto or manual. It's auto

Not overly modded except for a sony headunit and a Pioneer sub in the back.
Oh, and my sik pod filter that scores me chicks.

Scoring chick with the pod. Cant say my car's ever helped....LOL.. is that alu foil around the pod box!!!!! Also it way to close to the motor and to open!!

Yeah it's a work in progress hahaha, I haven't fitted it properly yet.. The main point of the box is there is a hole in the bottom of it where the air filter intake goes so it at least has a direct flow from the intake at the front.

Nice colour and i think we have simmillar alloys As for the pod box, is that to keep cops off your back? Looks clean all the same. Next step? Red callipers

Yeah I'm in the middle of modifying an old air box from a Falcon to fit the Pod in.
Haha nah it's mainly to keep constant airflow. Doubt cops would ever suspect me of having anything 'defectable' under my hood.

Painting the calipers is next on the list after replacing my ignition leads!

Generally you can here the pod sucking under heavy acceleration! Not hard to you if you've got one!!! Show us the pic's when you've modded the box!!

yeah! They are good little, zippy cars to get you from A to B.
She's just under 195k, still running smooth

My sister has a very similar car it's a 1997 Seca 1.8 which my mum bought new and hit 100k last month and that car's auto as well and it flies. I actually love them they look really good and i'm kinda biased seeing as I pretty much grew up in the thing.

Just replaced the ignition leads. There goes $118 out of my pocket. Next up, painted calipers..

Re-vamped the enclosure for the pod filter today using some random box from my dad's falcon.. that he doesn't own anymore.



and yes there is duct tape there, for extra 'security', but it is also clamped down.

$118 for ignition leads. Thats heaps.. Box's looking good, Where the cold air coming from?? Does the box have a top or lid???
