  • EliotG's Mazda 3 MPS

So, I'm getting rid of the EP3 Civic Type R and I've decided to replace it with something with a turbo. I missed having a turbo and wanted something more grown up and comfy so I thought this would fit the bill perfectly. First, some images:

There are a few things I want to do to it. Firstly it needs tidying up a bit. Needs an interior detail and needs swirl marks removed from the outside. I will probably get someone else to do the swirl marks as I haven't got a flippin' clue what I'm doing with a polishing machine.

Then I want to fit a short shift plate, a stiffer rear engine mount, refurb/paint the alloys a gun metal grey colour, change some bulbs and then do the usual intake/remap shizzle.

    A little spec:

    2.3 Turbo 4cyl
    260bhp (193kw) & 280lbs/ft (380nm)
    6 speed manual
    ~25mpg (11.3 l/100km) town & ~32mpg (8.8 l/100km) motorway
    0-60mph (100k's) in ~6 seconds and 155mph (250k's) limited top speed

Let me know what you think guys!

36K is pretty low for an MPS. All the ones I have seen for sale are either on 60K+ or are really low mileages being sold for silly money. Looks like you got a good'n.
How are you planning on doing the Gunmetal on the wheels, paint or plasti-dip / vinyl or something?

I'll probably get them done professionally. I don't trust myself to do it at all. I'll have them refurbed and then painted.
