  • Vantastic thread.

This is my Daily driver I bought last year. And yes, I have soft spot for vans, this is my 4th chevy van.

    It has 350tbi (5.7L v8) and th700 transmission.

When I bought this van it had quite nasty damage, because previous owner was in minor crash with it.

But I got that fixed, my dad's go workers fixed it.

Now it is back in her former glory.

I still need to get bull bar fixed, because it was bent quite bad.

You are the first one to say that. black and maroon red is mint combination, I love it. I saw this car first time right after it was painted and I fell in love with it. Few years later I was thinking that how much I would have to pay for that car. Later that day I noticed it was for sale in Finnish american car forum and I put my van I had then for sale immediately. Thank god I know the guy who had this van and he said that he can wait until I got my car sold, so I get money to buy this one.

I did replace the old headers last weekend. It took so much longer than I predicted. Had to remove power steering and alternator brackets, but now it's done.

              Headers out

No wonder it was loud and did sound stupid af.

And one bonus pic of Plymouth Duster, this was next to my van there.

I had to replace those headers to pass the annual MOT, but it didn't pass. Now I need also get new tie rod end.

I did replace that old tie rod end and now this car passed a roadworthiness test. I didn't took any pictures because I was in a hurry.

Next thing I had to check is why engine tends to struggle in low rpm sometimes. I bet it has vacuum leak or faulty spring in fuel pressure regulator. Also finally get that bull bar fixed.

Most of the time it's just a vacuum leak.. Take your vape mod and fill your intake.. It's pretty damn effective because at least for me, the clouds are very very very thick.. But i'm 80/20 VG/PG

So it was time to put summer tires back on to this beauty.

For comparision, there is rear tire from my van and tire from my gf's peugeot

                          and with summer tires.

                          + couple bonus pics again

I was going to update this thread but as you may notice, Photobucket wants me to update my account if I want to share my pics here. That costs 399.99$/year so hell no, not gonna update that shit.
