Hey all,
Back on this forum after ages with my Mini, I always like to close out my previous thread which when I open a new one and I've not updated it since late 2017, so yeah I got the Alfa lowered and looking exactly as I wanted it aannnnnnddddd then almost immediately sold it when it ran out of MOT test and was abandoned at my partners parents house.

After seeing a Peugeot 206 GTi180 for sale on a walk home from work I decided to replace the Alfa with it, spent far, far too much money repairing it and then sold it once it was running properly.

And now for the present day, after spending far too much money on repairs and running costs for the GTi I decided I needed something a little cheaper to own. So a run around all the local car dealerships and I found my current 2010 Mini Clubman.

In standard form for me the car seemed great in the dealership and then I drove it 8 miles to my partners work to pick her up and the thermostat housing was found to be cracked. It also had a suspension knock which the dealer "fixed" (If the warranty firm calls just agree with whatever we told them) about a month later and more knocking this was pulled out of it.

SOO broken stuff aside this car has been great, added the spot lights to the front of it, painted the dash trims black and the brake calipers yellow, then added some alloys to get rid of the completely destroyed standard ones.

So that's me up to date, I have many plans for this car once the lockdown is ended including a lip and lowering it a bit. Also have some trips planned in it once I can.
