THat happens when you edit a photo a lot or have the ISO to high.
One last thing, if you like editing photos in PS, take photos in RAW mode.
    cheers
Thanks for the tips mate, all taken into consideration !

Yeah. I just made my white balance off so that it gets some colours. I still havent gotten a fast lens though. Noise performance just sucks on the 1Ds. Plus my sensor was dirty. Really should grab myself the 50mm, or the 40mm pancake coming out soon.

Lovely shots ecks! And I agree with you there. Vivid was way better last year. There were simply not enough light sculptures this time around, and the Opera House was quite boring.

Although, I did miss that light tunnel, and that cube. I only got to shoot from that screaming wall to the Opera house. Totally missed everying on the other side.

Just to clearsomething up with some people who posted earlier, their is a difference between putting something out of focus, and bokeh, DOF with a low f stop, focused on an object will blur the background. Most people use the cheap $150 canon 50mm f1.8 to play with this.

Thats the same lens I was using at the BBQ meet. Its the 35-135mm f4~5.6. Oldie, but still works great.

That pano is actually 6 pics stitched together in PS, and then white balance corrected in LR. The colours are basically out of camera.
