Been watching the show for a couple of years now. I'm always looking forward to new episodes.

My main interest for the last 20 years has been off roading but lately I've had my fill of it and have branched out to other things. I bought a mint 1990 Miata and I even acquired a 1974 VW Thing to cruise around it so life has been full of change over the last 2 years and I'm liking the more relaxed pace.

I came here to seek help for an order I'd placed 3-1/2 weeks ago. I got the email notification that my order was placed, then another one that appeared to say it was shipped but I still haven't recieved it. Now when I go to the tracking page it looks like it says it wasn't scanned. I'm at a loss. I've emailed twice (to 2 different email addresses) but havent heard anything back. I do understand about the vast difference in our time zones so I'm trying to be patient but the order contained a couple of surprise gifts for my daughter. Any words of advice?

The thing is an awesome vehicle, surprising the parts that you can still get for em too.


The only email address you should be using is [email protected] - it normally takes a few days for someone to get back to you. Depends how busy the guys are.

When you say it hasn't scanned, does it tell you the location? It's often been the case where customs in the US will hold a package until it's paid for - but they normally send you a letter first.

Thank you! There are a couple of specialty stores here in the states that sell quality replacement parts for the Thing so it's not quite as difficult as it would seem. We are lucky to have people that are so passionate about them that they've dedicated a large portion of their lives to help support us and supply us with otherwise unobtainable parts.

As for the shipment, I went back to look at the Australia Postal site and it simply says "Pending, no updates yet, looks like your item hasn't been scanned yet"

Oh, and the emails I used were once each to [email protected] and [email protected]

So I suppose I have screwed up on that front haha

Looks like I should send a third one to the email you provided and be patient.
