      If your post was created any time between 2013 and 2017 it would have been lost in the server crash.

        Post was made few months ago. Was working perfectly fine until I updated the post with some pictures of newly purchased parts for my build.

            Hi Lockies

            Do you have a link to the thread, if you can see it there must be a link to it. I can't find it anywhere by doing a search.

            Also, when typing out your posts, try to minimise the use of special characters. such as the GBP pound sign etc as I don't think these errors have been ironed out yet. It'll delete everything in the post after the character. Try posting with plain text first.

            I'm limited in what I can do as a Moderator I don't have Admin rights but I can at least try to work out what's gone wrong.

            Thanks

            I stripped my car out so much it now has 49/49 weight distribution.

                Says I'm not authorised to view the thread, which is very strange. Clearly needs admin rights to fix this.

                You might have to hang about for a bit, Marty isn't on that often and I'm not sure who else active that has admin rights.

                  Got it sorted... It looks like topics in the members rides section need to be approved before they're visible. This one must have slipped through. Sorry about that.

                      Hi Jenga I am having similar issues and keep getting a message "You are not authorized to update this post." for my own thread and I cannot modify or add to it;

                        I've got admin rights now, so have approved your post. It's asking to approve your posts in the introduction area too which it shouldn't be.

                        I'll have a dig about in the permissions later and see what's up.

                        Also just in case you're wondering, you can't post in the build threads section
                        I stripped my car out so much it now has 49/49 weight distribution.

                            Yeah so everything is working as it should be, it's doing what I thought and it's flagging you as spam. Which puts your post into the moderation queue.

                            A tip for not getting flagged, don't post so many links. like your brake lines. Just say you got them off eBay rather than linking the exact item, same for the BC coilovers.

                            If you must post a link, like to a forum/website elsewhere. Type it in plain text. You'll find most forums work like this now.

                            If I lift the spam checking permissions, it'll just allow all sorts of real spam posts to come in and go un-noticed. so I won't change the permissions.
