    Howdie Mods,

I'd like to suggest two things I've found so far.

    1. I'd like to suggest only 1 post be required in Introductions, before the forum is 'opened up'. This means you still only need to watch one section for 1st post bot spam, but it will stop people posting questions as part of their introduction.

    2. Even though I post often, I'm not able to comment in build threads (I had a question for Jenga's build); so without knowing more, I can only suggest that since the forums are a lot slower now, relaxing the other threads would be ideal.

    Hey man

the post count was reduced to 3, people posting pictures goes against their post count. most people start a thread and upload a few pictures so they are over the minimum count. There is a yellow banner at the top of their screen which changes when they go over 3 posts to tell them they can post elsewhere.

there's something broken with the build threads, as we're on a newer version of vB and backed up using a 2013 version. The permissions should allow people to post in threads, but not create new topics.

I'll try and "open" the build threads. As the volume is low, it's easy to move threads into members rides if they're posted in the wrong place.

I'll send Marty an email to let him know.

I understand why the post count exists, it's just when the forum is slow moving, and a lot of people join up specifically to ask a question (then hopefully stay around); 3 posts is 'too many' to bother with for a lot of them.

I know it's there, to make sure that sign-up Bot spam can only be seen in one section; but I feel like it's limiting more people than it's helping is all.

Just an opinion of a forum nerd; carry on :P

Yeah I did consider it, should be able to keep on top of spam.

Marty is quite happy for us to change that, so I'll make it 1 post and I'll open up the build threads
